Buy wholesale then sell on ebay
Are these lighters ok to sell on ebay

I am looking for a company to buy wholesale from and then sell on ebay. I found this one wholesaler distributor from
China at www.LDUcompany.com and I want to know if anyone here has bought from them before or if anyone knows anything
about them? I was thinking about trying some of the lighters they sell, http://www.liangdianup.com/lighters_1.htm and are
these lighters ok to sell on ebay?

Removing Labels From Glass Jars

Does anyone know of an easy way to remove labels from glass and get rid of all of that sticky residue??

I always struggle with this and have tried vinegar, but I still need to use something with a rough edge to scrape away the remnants.

Uploading logo design

I designed my logo; I actually drew it out, penciled and inked it until it was just the way I wanted it. then I scanned it. Here is where my problem stands.

My design has the page where I drew it in the background! It is pumpkin shaped but is squared into the crop so my image is a mess. a pumpkin in a square...which doesn't really work because I want to use oval labels with the company name going above and below the image ; like a Welcome sign!

Anyone have a clue how to fix this??? Should I 'EXACTO" the image off the page? Use black background paper? I have no idea! I could use some help....

Just wondering if anyone has been able to find(or if this site will carry)a glossy water proof/water resistant label that is either transparent or colored that can be used for products that will go in the shower -such as: shampoos, bubble baths, shower gels for a very professional look and has greater durability.

Printers Used To Print Water Labels

Hello,

I use an Epson Stylus printer to print on my labels. I found that my designs wouldn't always align properly on the presized labels, so now I use full sheets and cut them to size. This also gives me a little more flexibility, though a little more work, cutting wise.

How is anyone else doing with the label sheets printing from their printer? Also, if you're selling your labels to a customer on the precut label sheets, do you give them the sheets for them to peel and stick? And what about the bleed that one would need to have to make sure that any misalignment on the labels won't leave any white space around the label edges. I think it would be unprofessional to give a customer a sheet of labels with bleed. Though I never really gotten any opinions on this, what is your opinion and your experience with feedback from your customers?

Microsoft Picture It!

The first comment that came to mind when I decided to post my thoughts on this particular software was somthing like this: "oh please shoot me now". As so far my experience with it has been the worst I have ever had when it comes to a program for labels. It's tedious and very non-user friendly. However, I suppose if I took the time to LEARN the program, maybe it wouldn't be so bad. Is anyone esle out there using Microsoft Picture It! for labels and what are your thoughts on it?

We have found Microsfot Word very useful when it comes to accurate yet flexible printing on any of our label sheets. We feel you'll have the most success if you familiarize yourself with the drawing toolbar - you will use this toolbar to create text boxes, element boxes, curved text, place images, draw shapes, etc. just to name a few. I can post more useful WORD tips as time allows, but for now - I have found this useful link on how to use the drawing toolbar in WORD:

I saw this on the news, and was so intrigued by it I went to their website and read every page. They are a young couple who can not have children without the assistance of IVF. IVF is very, very costly and their insurance does not cover it. So they have started a website where they share the journey and raise money to help pay for the procedure.

I guess it touched my heart because one of my children came into this world via IVF - but we had insurance that did cover it. So I guess it hits close to home because had my insurance not covered it, we would not have been able to afford the procedure and my son would not be with us today. It makes me want to donate all I can to them - to think we could all help them bring a child into this world. There is no greater joy than having a child of your own and I do believe every loving couple should have that opportunity.

Check out their site, www.babyorbust.com - they are keeping a record of every dime and all related bills - and if they raise more than they need, they will donate to another couple in need of IVF to become parents.

Great Marketing Ideas for Candlemakers?

Anyone have any fantastic marketing ideas to share with other candlemakers?

Here is one I saw last year....candle maker made votives and 1.5 hex jars in pumpkin spice (with her info on them of course) and took them to a couple craft malls and let them hand the candles out as a halloween treat!
